Gosh, I hope nobody will be doing any posing while we’re working together! Honestly—my process prioritizes activities and connectiveness. This means that there’s very little “go stand over there in the right way and don’t move a muscle” and a lot of fun things to do instead. Every couple is different and I tailor the experience per your connection and personalities. In short—don’t worry about this part. It’s my job to help you feel comfortable and keep you thinking about your love, not about the camera.

Second shooters are great for wedding days where there are different things going on in different places or for a greater variety of storytelling. You might want a second shooter if you & your spouse-to-be are getting ready in separate locations and you want to capture both experiences, or if you love the idea of seeing as many of your guests’ reactions and moments as possible, or if you want to see more of what happened during your day. A second shooter will get an additional perspective, but also they’ll be able to be where I’m not (as much as I’d love to clone myself!) & get coverage of that.

Few people know what they’re doing when they start planning their wedding! :) One of the many services I offer with each wedding package is timeline creation, so in our initial call we can go over your day and get into the details of what would work best for what you want. It isn’t my aim to sell you hours you don’t need or to get you to book my largest package—I want to find the right timeline that works best for what means the most to you.

Engagement sessions are a beautiful, well-rounded experience in themselves. I love planning them out alongside you and crafting something truly unique and special. For that reason, I offer engagement sessions as add-ons—however, with each package purchase, there’s a specific discount on engagement sessions. The larger package you book, the bigger the discount!

Rain is beautiful. Clouds are beautiful. Overcast days are often PERFECT for lighting on the face. We’ll always be able to find beauty in what the sky throws at us, and rainy wedding days are often the most unique (I highly recommend having a plan for this if it’s likely, like an outfit change, clear umbrellas, cute rain boots, etc.) especially if you’re open to letting go and getting a little messy. If an engagement session or family session date needs to be rescheduled because of the weather, I’m more than happy to discuss!
