Jaime + Rob’s Wedding Celebration at River House at Odette’s

River House at Odette’s is a venue with an open-air stunning view of the Delaware River. I’m a New Hope PA wedding photographer, but I don’t usually photograph weddings of family or friends anymore (I’ve shot my brother’s wedding while walking down the aisle as a bridesmaid among others, and my husband has had enough lol), but this one was special. Jaime is my beloved cousin and she asked me to snap just a few details and photos of her and her husband, Rob. Naturally, while my husband drove our baby around in the car for her nap before the party, I was happy to lend a creative hand.

This New Hope wedding venue is a stunning choice for Delaware River wedding photography. Although Jaime and Rob did not have their ceremony on this day (they charmingly got married privately in their kitchen), they chose to have their intimate wedding celebration at Odette’s.

Their focus was the joy of coming together with their loved ones and the story of togetherness. I adored the posters Jaime had designed showcasing their lives: one for each of them, showing photos from when they were babies all the way up to meeting each other. Then, a poster for them both, their stories together and their adventures. It was evident that Jaime and Rob wanted to give their guests a delightful experience (and delightful it was!), because they continued with a fun game where we guessed where they were in photos from their worldwide travels. The winner received an AirBnb gift card! But I’ll say this–everyone was a winner, because we walked away with full hearts, sore feet from a happy dance floor, and delicious Mast chocolates.
